Event Planning.
Parties
While each situation is different, basic coverage for each event includes precise planning and strict attention to every detail. In working directly with my CEO, Mark Cuban, and the event team with our client DIRECTV, we executed successful pre-Super Bowl parties in the host city for ten straight years. Details for managing our end of the responsibilities included managing the invitation and RSVP list, wrangling celebrities for red carpet walks, supporting PR initiatives, and ensuring that Mark was 100% happy with the experiences and that our guests felt the same way.
Press Conferences
Every major publicity push may, at some point, call for a press conference or press event. These “pressers,” as they are called, require a key message compelling enough for reporters to travel to – although ZOOM is also a tactic to employ. A press conference will also demand a spokesperson trained in answering questions and speaking about your cause. Preparation and timing are key to a successful press conference.
Fundraisers
Fundraisers can be one of the most fun projects to work on—who doesn’t like planning a party that people feel good about coming to and donating to the cause? Fundraisers need a solid roadmap, theme, plan, and budget. Beginning with the goal in mind is the best way to start—and the best way to guarantee results, no matter how many twists and turns you encounter along the way.
